Participating in this year’s tournament are 18 teams with over 200 athletes from 27 grassroots trade unions of communes and wards in the city.

The teams are divided into 6 groups to compete in a round-robin format to choose the team with the highest and second points of the group stage to compete in the quarterfinals, semi-finals and finals. After 4 days of exciting competition with 29 intense matches, the Mini Football Tournament for employees of Trade unions of communes and wards of Nha Trang City in 2022 officially ended.

Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh – Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports and Mr. Phan Thanh Liem – Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee presented cups, flags and gold medals to the winning team.

After the dramatic and attractive final, the Organizing Committee closed the tournament and awarded the championship cup to the coalition team of Vinh Thai and Vinh Ngoc communes, the second was the coalition team of Vinh Hai and Vinh Hoa wards, the Vinh Phuong commune team and the coalition team of Tan Lap-Phuoc Hoa wards tied for 3rd place.

As an activity to respond to Workers’ Month and the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health in 2022, the Mini Football Tournament for employees is not only a playground to help cadres, civil servants, officials and employees of units have the opportunity to meet, exchange and strengthen solidarity, exchange experiences in trade union work and professional skills, but also is also an opportunity to encourage and promote the movement of physical training and sports to improve health to meet the working tasks of the city’s communes and wards.
