F.I.T Group implements a unique strategy to break through the bottled water market

According to market research, the water industry in Vietnam will continue to grow in 2022 and the following years because of the improvement of people’s living conditions and income, in which health products continue to be a trend promoting the breakthrough of this industry. Another report by Nielsen indicates that the bottled water industry, including mineral water/spring water, starts to grow again in 2022 and continues to strongly develop in the coming time.

In Vietnam, the bottled water market is growing rapidly with the participation of many domestic and foreign brands. Observing the overall picture of the market, experts also said that one of the healthy drinks that is receiving much attention today is natural alkaline mineral water.

In fact, not all water sources contain alkaline minerals to provide the ideal alkalinity for daily use. The World Health Organization established the limit in which mineral water has the highest alkalinity of 9.5 and a pH level of 9.0 to be perfectly suitable for drinking.

The findings from 1977 to 1999 show that Danh Thanh mineral source in Khanh Hoa, Vietnam is a natural water source with perfect natural alkaline mineral property of 9.0, light mineral content equal to famous mineral sources in the world, which helps to neutralize excess stomach acid, actively support the digestive system, thereby bringing the body back to a naturally healthy and balanced state.

Many enterprises which produce and trade drinking water are currently trying to bring/create alkalinity in water with various technologies, however, there is no natural mineral water mine that reaches the perfect natural alkaline threshold like Vikoda.

Sharing about the future plan, a representative of F.I.T Group said that the Group and Vikoda establish a goal of reaching the consumption output of 100,000 bottles of Vikoda natural mineral water per day in 2023. This is the premise for Vikoda to conquer the strategic goal of tenfold growth up to 1 million bottles/day by 2030 through nationwide distribution systems.

In order to fulfil these goals, Vikoda will continue to invest in completing Germany and Italy’s modern production lines to achieve a capacity of 180 million liters of products per year.
